Actually, there IS something like that. You just need to be curious enough to look around in Ubuntu. Its an icon right in the upper gnome bar. It was one of the first things I noticed (apart from the obviously UNIQUE experience of having two "taskbars") when I first booted from ubuntu live CD.
From a UX point of view, A welcome screen in your face at first bootup like Windows Welcome center is better then an icon tucked away in the corner
When I asked how'd u do it, she said,"Simple! Googled for Proxies and used the first one that came as a result." I felt like a complete J@ck@$$ at that moment but happy too in a way that my little sister does know a thing or two about computers and some that too which I don't.![]()
