EMF could also mean electro-magnetic field.
Seriously, the hate attitude being displayed out here toward the girl is just crazy. What are you guys trying to prove - that everyone MUST know Linux? Merely using Linux does not make you a competent programmer or an expert computer user.
Sure, she was lazy in not Googling/Yahooing for the solution but you can't really criticize them for not knowing how to do that. What we take for granted cannot be assumed to be true for someone who lives in the middle of nowhere. There are a literally tons of people in India who've never used a computer, let alone surf the web or call tech support. Are they utter imbeciles who deserve to be ridiculed by all the so-called "elitists" on board?

Looks like you've never been to the U.S. You'd die of shame if you were to meet some of the female computer whizkids out there. Head over to any major university like GA Tech, Stanford, UCB etc. and they'll put you in your place.
