hi, I use windows xp professional and i just installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my pc. But after the installation finished, and the PC boots, there is not splash screen to run ubuntu. So i am unable to boot Ubuntu. What's the problem here?

I have two hard-disks, 500GB SATA and 40GB IDE. Ubuntu is installed on the 10 GB free space of the 40 GB IDE hard-disk,
because my pc (AMD Athlon 64) requires RAID driver to support 500GB SATA drive.
