Three Configs : Which is best one for a videos/movies/games maniac ?

Actually i was doubting whether can we watch the TV on HD monitor using HDMI input from Setup box. Now its clear.

watching is ok. but the dude wants to record.

I also started another thread on this subject in Graphics Card section whether we can record using GPU but thread goes unnoticed till now.
