Thinking of buying AVast Internet Security! Needs suggestion.

Is AVG free any good ?

Detection rate not very good.use Ad-aware instead.

Avast Internet Security is working fine for me for quite a while..
Before that i used avast free, that was also good..
so if u don't wanna pay u can try avast! free

Kaspersky ?

I would recommend anyone to stay away from it. Had such a horrible experience that I will never forget.

Avast Free (or Avira Free) + Online Armor Free/Comodo Firewall

this is pretty much the best free combo. Although using the AV alone is enough for most people

Don't go for a paid AV, it isn't worth it at all.

And yeah, dont go for the latest Kaspersky releases. Too annoying and if you are connected to some kind of LAN and play LAN games, you are gonna end up cursing yourself. Better stay away from kaspersky in that case.

Renew your AVAST subscription.
Because Its cool and secure.
as I know,Kaspersky is resource hungry product.
My personal recommendation is to use LINUX.
You never gonna need an antivirus solution.
