five substituitions and 2 goals. the 4 minutes extra time was justified. isnt 3 or 4 minutes added in every other game. people just make a big deal out of it. the referring was **** today. we should have had a penalty in the first half plus bardsley should have been booked.

You can only get lucky so many times,but it is not even funny anymore to say "I told you so" after a game at OT,it has got that predictable.

Foster - 3 - Terrible again. Should have dominated Jones in the air for his goal, couldn't kick straight and there seems to be no communication with his defenders. Van der Sar's hand can't heal quickly enough.

Jonathan Evans - 5 - Was better than his centre back partner defensively, but his constant use of long balls up top added to United's aimless display.

Nani - 4 - His weekly competition with Foster for the worst performer award continued. Rarely found a team mate when in possession; his Old Trafford career seems to be going down the pan.

Fletcher - 5 - Set nothing like the standard we've come to expect. Ran around like a headless chicken all evening and was subbed for Carrick.

Scholes - 4 - Hooked for Anderson at half time after, arguably, his worst display for the club. He misplaced as many passes in 45 minutes as he has done in his entire career.

Rooney - 5 - The 'Rooney rage' of old reared its head as nothing came off for him all night. Tried to do too much on his own and often ran in to cul-de-sacs where even his talent wasn't enough to pave the way forward.

Berbatov - 8 - Could have been awarded the score for his outrageous overhead kick alone. Was otherwise impressive amongst the mediocrity around him as he, at least, was able to find other players wearing red.


Valencia - 5 - Didn't add anything to the United fight back when brought on. Is struggling to get to grips with life at the top
