I used speed fan to know the temperature of CPU.
It says on an average

Ambient: 49-52 C
Remote 1: 42-48 C
Remote 2: 44-49 C
HDD1 : 40-50 C
HDD2 : 50-58 C

I want to know what does Ambient and remote 1 and remote 2 mean...
Another thing is it safe for my computer to reach such temp becuase the icon shown is flaming in hard disks....

In my cabinet I have added a 80 gb hard disk and a dvd writer and 512 mb ddr 400 MHz ram to the factory condition PC.

What are the recommended temperatures and what are the cooling options...

I know they are lot of questions...Thanks in advance

well, the temp are quite fine though maybe slightly on the higher side. but for summers, its nothing to worry about. for cooling, add a couple of fans in ur cabby. its very imp to have a 120mm intake fan in the front o ur cabby if it allows u. apart from that one 80/120mm exhaust fan at th back of the cabby and 80mm exhaust fan on the side panel are quite enough
