Answer these first.....

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:

Buddy, if budget is not a concern then get a i7 3930X 6 Core Sandy Bridge E Processor and a X79 motherboard.

yeah Hope you are kidding cilus :p
in that case get 2xGTX titan(or 4) or simply get nVidia Quadro 6000/8000 x 2;) 32GB ram 500GB ssd 4TBx(2-3) HDDs, 2 bluray dvd writers, 1500 watt modular psu, Huge Ultra HD 3D monitor x 3(eyefinity setup), And yeah you can also go for multi-processor rig.

Hello mate.

Don't buy the older quadros now. They are based on the older fermi architecture and still cost a lot.

Consider the following:

Buy Online Leadtek Nvidia Quadro K2000 2GB DDR5 Nvdia Graphis Card (NQK2000) in india

The ones with a "K" prefix are based on the new kepler architecture. This is a much better choice than older quadro 2000 available in flipkart.
It also has 2gb vram.

If you want more performance, then consider the following:

Buy Online Leadtek Nvidia Quadro K4000 3GB DDR5 Nvdia Graphis Card (NQK4000) in india

Its the workstation version of GTX 680 and has 1536 sp's along with 4gb gddr5.

You can check the performance of quadro k4000 below and speculate the performance of k2000 accordingly.
Note that the quadro 2000 in that review isn't k2000 but the older fermi card. k4000 is actually recommended by tomshardware for its performance.

V-Ray greatly supports CUDA and open-cl and favours NVIDIA cards. Now take your decision mate. :)

Processor is a bit expensive. Should be around 21k.

> Replace Corsair Vengeance with G.Skill RipjawsX. 8 GB 1600 MHz comes for ~4.2k, so 2 sticks will cost around 8.4-8.7k.

> Replace Corsair CX600 v2 with Seasonic S12II 620W.

I think you're buying this:

Buy Leadtek NVIDIA Quadro 2000 Graphic Card in India

This isn't K2000 buddy, but older Quadro 2000 based on fermi architecture with 192 sp's.

K2000 is based on kepler architecture and has 384 sp's. Its inherently much efficient as well. Its a much better card than the one you've selected.

I suggest you to have a chat with IT DEPOT guys in the link i gave.

@sentacy,
In my opinion plz don't go with Quadro or FirePro GPU setup; b'cause GPU rendering in V-Ray is not fully supportable yet....yes u can make nice preview with it but not the FINAL output.
These GPU's mainly very friendly for viewport operations; In recent time they are helping to make Real Time Lighting, Shadow, Ambient Occlusion previews in viewport as well as in Active Shade; but they are not as quick as real raw power of processor's cores for Final Output.
And if anyone using these GPUs for Final Rendering, he/she will loose control over various and important options in V-Ray.
Saying that, in future Chaos Group (V-Ray's developers) shall be update there plugin'ss architecture, so V-Ray can utilize CPU+GPU power simultaneously along with each other.

So, as Cilus said, go with i7 3930X 6 Core Sandy Bridge E Processor and a X79 motherboard instead of 4770K + Quadro GPU.
I would prefer i7 3960X or 3970X, if u find it.

Hope this is useful for ur decision.

For rendering and other many CPU intensive professional workloads, more cores is still better option than IPC per core. The Sandy Bridge E 3960X offers 6 core with 12 thread processing capabilities and better for OP's type of work.
