Guys I m going to Nehru Place Market (delhi) next week.:doublethumb:U Digit Experts have already helped me in making my prefences easier and understandable. But I again want to know which will be best for me seeing VFM n Budget.?
I will be using it for Mid-gaming and also Web Designing(Adobe Photoshop and perhaps Dreamweaver).

Proccessor :- Phenom II * 4 945 3.0 Ghz Quad Core (Rs 6550)

Mobo :- MSI 880GMA-E45 (Rs 5350)(first preference) or
Gigabyte GA - 880GMA - UD2H(Rs 5500)(second preference) or
Gigabyte GA - 880GM-UD2H(Rs 4500)(last choice)

Hard Disk :- Seagate 1 T.B 7200 R.P.M(Rs 2850)

RAM :- GSkill 2 * 2 GB DDR3 1333 MHZ(Rs 3000)
or
Corsair 2 * 2 GB DDR3 1333 MHZ(I don't remember)

Graphics Card :- MSI R6850 ATI 1 GB Radeon GDDR5(Rs 11700) (a Sweet Deal)
or
Zotac GTX 460 1 GB GDDR5( RS 12000)

Monitor :- LG LCD 20"(Rs 6600)
or
Benq LCD 20"(around Rs 6000)
or
Samsung LCD 20"(Rs 6500)

DVD-Writer :- LG DVD-RW 22X(Rs 950)

Cabinet :- Cooler Master Elite 430(Rs 2600) (without its local smps)(But with its 3 Fans) :bananana:
or
Cooler Master Elite 310(Rs 1500)(If 430 is not avaible then this one)

Keyboard + Mouse :- Normal Kit

PSU(Power Supply Unit) :- Corsair 550 VX(Rs 4750)(first preference)
or
Corsair 450 VX(Rs 3750)(second Preference)
or
SeaSonic Bronze S12II 520 W(Rs 4100)(last Choice)

UPS :- Normal one (will buy it from a dealer of our home invertor) 1KVA

I prefer AMD based Platform coz its future proof. And since Phenom II * 4 955 3.2 Ghz fans r very noisy so 945 one model is better.
Operating System will be Windows 7 HP 64-Bit
Total Cost will be around Rs 45000:p(without UPS) which is under my budget.
Most of the prices r from SMC website. I will directly go to nehru place to check the prices and then decide.
Plz Digit experts give me advice n suggestions if u wish.:-o
Thanks in Advance

Looks brilliant
A few suggestions
1) Seasonic S12II 520W is better than VX450W.
2) 1055T instead of 945 for 2k extra would be good investment. Its a helluva overclocker. You can easily hit 3.7 3.8 GHz WITHOUT touching Voltages.
3) A Benq G2200HD for 7.3. For full HD.
4) Get 1600MHz of CL7 RAM for better overclocking. @ 4.2k

Ishu Gupta.
I will never try overclocking:wink:. Of course I prefer a good performance.Since I will never try overclocking so 1600 Mhz Ram will be useless for me. (as we know they r more expensive than the 1333 Mhz ones). Ya Benq 22" monitor will be great for me. I actually made preference systems right from the beginging coz we don't know wether on the day of purchasing computer parts if suddenly one part is not available then we can select others which we know that those parts r also good by performance and quality too(by reading other digits experts advice) n also will not be a bad choice. sorry I meant if one brand is not availble on the day of purchasing computer parts then we can opt for other brands which we also knows from digit forums suggestions that these brands r also good or not.

Well thats upto you. IMO OC is a great thing.

How about the 1055T I suggested. Its a six core processor. Future proof. 2.8GHz. Turbo Boost upto 3.6GHz.

Turbo Boost - when three or less cores are being used, 3 core will go into low power mode and 3 core will go into performance mode. Neat eh? 8)

1600 MHz Ram is not just good for overclocking, it is a better performer although in an AMD platform the performance difference between a 1333 MHz and 1600 MHz ram is negligible. But 1600 MHz CL7 ram will perform better as they have lower latency compared to the CL9 models. AMD processors are very sensitive towards memory latency and reduced latency will yield definite performance boost.
Regarding processor, go with Ishu's suggestion and get a 6 core AMD. It is better VFM.

Ishu Gupta. Phenom II * 6 1055T 2.8 Ghz costs is Rs 9200.(according to SMC International Website) Which makes my budget tight?:(
So Is smc website prices include 5% Taxes?:banghead:
Well I agree Turbo Boost is a good feature.:+1:

So one thing to ask?Is more RAM is better or a better proccessor?I meant instead of 4 GB RAM DDR3 1333 MHZ I can buy 6 GB RAM DDR3 or otherwise as u said instead of Phenom II * 4 945 3.0 GHZ I buy Phenom II * 6 1055T 2.8 GHZ. Personally If u had to choose what u had choose?:?:

For your uses 4GB is enough. And Adding RAM later is so easy, but replacing a CPU is very hectic.

Get it off some other shop. Should be around 8.3 - 8.6k.

I tried adding a CPU to cart and they didn't ask for tax :)

The i5 750 has a got a major price drop Its selling for 8.1k in kolkata as said by a forum member named Mitraark. Check this thread.

If this news is true, then the op here can safely go for it as its a great processor. Pairing it with a h55 chipset based board and using discrete graphics will make the set more vfm as it will be cheaper compared to a p55 board.

Amd calls that turbo core. Turbo boost is intel's technology.
