Suggest me a SmpS for HD 5770

Hey guyz...
I want to buy a new GFX card (Radeon HD 5770)
So many of them says that, for that type of card we need a better power supply (SMpS)
And my budget of SmPs is less than Rs. 1,000 ! :-/
Please suggest me a good SmPs which would keep this GPU safely ?
And be safe for my PC...

Hello xgamer For your information get a good PSU otherwise it will spoil the other components in the system.

If possible try to get 6770 same card but that sports hdmi 1.4 good for 3d .

I would suggest to invest alteast 2k for smps with atleast 500 watts. Brands trusted are corsair, fsp , tagan etc . you check it on few online sites.

@OP, FSP Saga ii 500W - 2K is a bare minimum for that GPU..

Foxin Cabinet,
The budget of my Graphics card and the SMPS is...

I am currently running the same card with 600 watts smps no issue for 2 months now started giving slight issue. So better invest in the smps otherwise you endup loosing components.

For 7.5k a good PSU and 5770! Not possible at all. Better invest in 5750/6750 and a good PSU like FSP SAGAII 500W/400W which is a bare requirement.
HD 6750 -- 6k
SAGAII 400W -- 1.8k
SAGAII 500W -- 2.2k

^^ Agreed. A standard 500W PSU is minimum for the rig of yours. Go with Saswat's suggestion.

@Xgamer: invest in better PSU coz its the main powerhouse for the whole system.
& investing in PSU less than 1k is not a good idea.

Corsair VX450w - 3.5k

Sapphire HD5770 ~ 6k+

Sapphire HD6770 - 7.2k

Increase budget still or manage with 5670 or 5750 or 6750.

But a 5770/6770 with SAGAII 500W is the best Combo for under his budget..

6770 will probably overshoot the budget..
