Suggest Headphones within 40$

Guys,
I'm looking for headphones within 40$ (will buy it from US and get it here through my friend)
Prefer an emphasis on bass while not losing out on vocals and soundstage.
I prefer a portable set.

1. Panasonic RP -HTF 600
-Got great reviews and for its price of 30 dollars, it seems to be a steal!
Joker gave them 7.75 for sound.

2.Koss PortaPro
-More like Iconic headphones
-38 dollars (lifetime warranty?)
-Going strong for many years.

3.Grado igrado
-Heard them once, liked it.
-cord is flimsy.
-bit out of budget (49 $)

4.Jvc HARX700
-Good reviews
- huge

Senn HD202. Reject grados if bass is your preference.

The iGrado is a bit different from the usual grados in terms of sound signature.
I'm getting mixed reviews on the HD202. :\
I wish we had places where we could audition headphones and all

I dont have portapro. tkin got these.

I'd buy both But if asked for one then HTF600 as per what I heard.

No you can't tag any member in TDF.

BTW I guess the lifetime warranty is not valid in India, IIRC.

I'm also looking for Koss PortaPro to be available in India.
As per the information I've already gathered, you won't get lifetime warranty in India for Koss headphones, in fact, no warranty in India.

^1 yr warranty if you buy from India. tkin confirmed this when he bought his from Apple India.

It costs 3.8k here in India with 1 year warranty, while it costs 33$ from outside (roughly around Rs 1800).

I'm still hanging on the panasonics due to its sound rating of 7.75 by joker while portapros got 6.5 for sound. :S

If bass impact is considered, you should forget HD202..

Consider Sony XB500 might please you for your taste...
