if u are not gonna Multitask or overclock and for pure gaming only then i3 3220(ivy B) +cheap b75 mobo will outuperform any fx as Gaming requires only 2 cores and i3 per core performance is high than any FX + Less Power Consumtn+Less Heat...........i f were u i would get i3 6.8k + hd 7770 7.5k + Corsair vs450(2.1k)or Corsair Cx 430 (2.6k more reliable)

extending budget to 1k more will be worth.....
BUT ATLAST ..............MOney MATTERS......:D

^^ Please check some latest game benchmarks, specially Crysis 3 and you will understand how misarable is two cores for gaming now a days.

And I didn't understand about this sentence:
if u are not gonna Multitask or overclock and for pure gaming only then.....

Did you even bother to read the requirement list of OP before suggesting? Tell me, Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter, Indesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, max, Z brush, Maya, premiere, which one of these applications are not highly multi-threaded and a two core CPU is enough for them.

> crysis 3, far cry 3, tomb raider...?

> how much can you save with the power difference between FX 6300 and i3 3220?

> If at last money mattered, everyone would be using a VIP PSU instead of spending 5x more money on a better product.
