Stand by missing!!!

I have recently re-installed xp and found the 'stand by' button missing in the "turn off" menu.
Please help me

Is advance power management support enabled in BIOS ?

install correct motherboard drivers and you will get back the standby button.

Yep. Its a driver problem. As mentioned in Point 15, install VGA drivers and you'll get the option back.

right...its a driver problem...

Only Pentium 3 drivers installs automatically...
yah..with mercury MB i meant.
