Sony ericsson not satisfied !!

This is the mail i sent to sony ericsson today . you can understand the scenario by reading it what else can i do at this moment . what if i am not going to get any reply for this ? . Is there any other place where i can complaint about this ?

sir i bought my new sony ericsson s500i on 09/09/07 . And it suddenly stoped working on 01/10/07 so i located a service centre from your website and gave my mobile for warranty after lot of calls and visits to the service centre i got my mobile on 9/10/07 for which i had to pay rs 950 inspite of having warranty . and when i brought it home it wasnt receiving signals inside enclosed areas , so i took it back to the service centre on 10/10/07 till date i have not got my mobile back . i was told that i can come and collect it on 17/10/07 and when i went there my mobile was not ready and the ser ice engineer told he is using it to check and waiting for some spare parts and i was told that ill get it on monday 22/10/07 , and when i called them today the answers are not satisfactory . why do i have to suffer like this ? please make sure something is done . Is this what i get for buying a sony ericsson mobile ? all the visits to the service centre ( almost 40 kms away ) lot of calls and mental torcher . please make sure something is done .

Yes they should replace with new one!

Post a register letter with acknowledgment card to both sony & Service shop... This will help u in future!

My blood boils wen these type of things happen! :(

yes even i want to complaint straight . but there seems to be no sony ericsson office in chennai . can someone please help me with this .

I had the same problem with my new SonyEricsson mobile, it stopped working after changing the SIM Card(I have 5 SE Mobiles???) and I just complained to questions.in@support.sonyericsson.com and got reply from SE People.

But I didnt get a my mobile back yet, already two weeks over. (Its with ACCEL Frontline, Chennai.) I am from chennai and planned to go to Consumer court, IF I DIDNT GET MY MOBILE IN 2 DAYS. If you are interested we will both approach them. I loved SE verymuch and a long time FAN to them, but NO MORE. I purchased my first NOKIA phone in my life (E61) after this tragedies and I am very much happy with it. This SE guys are cheating Indians, they cant do like this in U.S.

Guys wat is happening????
I bought my w580i from Sony xPerience store opp shastri bhavanin chennai..I askd the rep to put my sim in the new phone..they struggled a lot since when they insert the sime it tells insert sim card mess often..finally after some cleanin and bendin of the sim it worked..

I cam bac home a proud owner of awesome w580i..I slept and wake up in the mornin to see my mobile showin a mess inser sime..after much struggle got it to work again..

This continued the second day too..Very disappointed called up the same sony store and the rep connected the cal to service rep..he askd 2 bring the mobile for service..I shouted at him since it's a brand new mob and wil not giv for a service and needs a replacement..

he told they will giv a replacement within 2 days if the mob is returned back within 7 days frm the date of purchase.

Astonishingly since my cal to them i never see the insert sim mess again(BIZARRE)

I think u shuld hv necer given ur mob 4 a service..u shuld hv shouted like hell..
try it again buddy..if u shout sumthin shuld hv been happen.

Why should we shout, Already I have enough BP! better I will switched to Nokia.

Do you guys know any better mobile store in chennai for exchange. Believe me, I have 5 SE Phones in my hand and I planned to exchange them all for a good nokia phone. Is wavetel good for exchange?

And here is the Joke. After one week I got reply from SE. (What a wonderful customer service!!!)

My friend suffered similarly. He had a J230i which would display a blank display upon startup. So he went to se service centre. There they told him that some liquid has damaged the phone, and despite being under warranty, he had to pay Rs. 500 to repair it. But my friend told me that no liquid ever went inside his phone. Still he gave them for servicing. After full two weeks, they were unable to repair it. So my friend took it back. Then he gave it at a small shop for repair where they charged him Rs. 150, and repaired it in one day and now the phone is working fine.

Moral of the story: SE service centre sucks!

I hope there are lot of STUPIDS are working with Sony Ericsson. They even don't have time to check their databases.

But the bad news is, still I didn't get my mobile back. I called ACEL FRONTLINE LIMITED and they replied simply "YOU HAVE GIVEN YOUR MOBILE ON 17-10-2007 ONLY. BUT THERE ARE LOT OF PEOPLE THOSE HAVE GIVEN BEFORE YOU, ARE STILL WAITING. PLEASE CALL NEXT WEEK!!!"

No way, I decided to exchange my "SONY ERICSSON SH*T" (Yes, I was a crazy FAN of Sony Ericsson before, but not More!) for a good nokia phone once I got it, so I can wait some more time!!!

Do you guys know any good place to exchange it in Chennai?

In my opinion, before going to any court, try all contacts related to SE. Like their customer care, the service centre where you gave handset, any higher officials of SE, SE Indian heaed office (if any), and try to contact any of SE top officials and explain it to every one.

Go to court only if no one in SE respond to you positively.

All these service centers suck.
If they want to extract money from you, they ll just say that there has been liquid damage in ur fone and hence it isnt covered under warranty.. if they cant show any dampness or wetness indicator to u they ll say that the moisture inside is only visible to technicians like them.. bloody ba$tard$.. :x
most of the fcukin technicians seem to be bloody illiterates straight out of bihar..
also if they dont take any action just go to the service center and start shouting.. u shd be so loud that u scare atleast 5-6 people nearby from purchasing SE product in the future..
