Something wrong with my video?????

Here's my pc configuration
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU 540 @ 3.07GHz (4 CPUs)
Memory: 1974MB RAM
Graphic Card: ATI Radeon HD 5400 Series(msi r5450 1gb ddr3)
Mobo: ASUS P7H55-M LE
OS: XP 2 (32 bit)
Guys the question is when I start playing video on internet or on my video player, the video is works fine but my internet gets hung up every time and after a minute my pc is all hung like i have bought 2nd hand Pc.

And one more thing I want to use XP 2, but it seems like I have to install window 7.


please suggest me ur opinion ASAP.

Update flash player.
Use google chrome/ Firefox, if you are using IE

hang? do these:

1. update graphics driver.
2. check the temperature of the proccy when playing flash videos or just normal usage (use CPUID H/W Monitor). post a screenshot with it running.

hey OP you sure i3 540 is quad-core?I thought all the i3's were dual cores!!

No no its a dual core but got hyperthreading. So he sees 4 threads in his task manager so referring them as 4 cores. But in reality the 540 has got 2 physical cores capable of processing 4 threads.

You should do this-
1)Update to Windows Xp Service pack 3
2)Update your graphics card driver
3)Update to Firefox,Opera or Google Chrome browser(if you are using IE 7 or 8)
4)Update Adobe flash player
5)Update java.
