Hey hey hey. This is simple. You don't need any program if you have Win 9x or 2000 or ME. Just go to dos. Rename the name of the folder containing the file to any 3 digit number. While entering the number press Alt key. Then you cannot access, delete, move the folder. If you want to access, go to dos and rename the folder again. You file name itself is the password. What's more? You will not see the folder name in dos or Windows. In Windows you will see a _ instead of folder name and in dos the ascii value of your folder. So it is not safe if you are afraid any dos geek might steal your documnts.
If you use XP or don't want to sweat your palms following the above method use a program called Folder Lock

Hmmm ... Sujithom ..Try it before telling it to anyone ..It wont work in Win 2000 nor XP ...

And to defeat the Ascii password in Win9X .. You 'll need just a small Dos trick .. Search the forum ..I have posted it many times ...
