O1 costs less than 10k now. get it before it is kicked from market. If you can up the budget, check Samsung Ace.

G551 = bad battery life & screen. descent QWERTY (for first time users). O1 = acceptable battery life for smartphone & descent screen.

also G551 still sells for 12k+. simply not worth the price.

^^ please stop suggesting that old lifeless mobile. for that price far better mobiles available.

first of all, Android is a powerhungry OS. so nobody should be surprised if their battery doesn't last 2 days also. but i'll really advice not to take Nokia's route just for battery life.

Galaxy 551 is a good choice but low resolution screen, avg keyboard & lastly a low rated battery won't be of much help. battery won't last even a day.

if budget is below 15, Optimus One (my 1st LG mobile) ---> 10k. 3.2'' screen with proper resolution, avg camera, doesn't look like a clone of any existing mobile & good support from XDA.
Galaxy Ace ---> 3.5'' screen but slightly low resolution, BAD BATTERY, looks like an iphone clone, far superior cam than LG O1.

but trust me, Optimus One is one of the better budget smartphones that you won't regret buying.

PS: Samsung Galaxy Pro will get launched soon & it should have a proper battery life. its a bar QWERTY android & runs on Froyo. can try it if you hate LG
