Shellstyle.dll (I suppose you were reffering to as Shell themes ) is a file often bundled with the visual style that skins the common tasks pane (and other panes, e.g. the add/remove panel).

No installation is necessary. Simply unzip the visual style to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes and make sure the shell folder is in the visual style folder along with the msstyles file.

Actually...i downloaded some cool looking themes from deviantart.com. It was mentioned that those were SHELL THEMES meant for BLACKBOX.

This is confusing me. When i unzipped a theme download...all i found was a text file ..with some characters...and a jpeg image.

How do i install the theme FOR BLACKBOX? Where can i download this software?

Themes ar Visual Styles? Both are different.

I have never come across " BLACKBOX". The shell thing should have Shellstyle.dll and prolly nothing else (thats how I have in my system).

From this location you got your stuff?
