There is a problem with my computer. Whenever I double click on a folder, the system starts a 'search' instead of 'open'ing it. When I right-click on a folder the main option has changed to 'search' instead of 'open'. I do not know how this happened. How can I change the main option back to "OPEN"?

Go to Start/Run and type in:

regsvr32 /i shell32
Click OK

Note that the spacing is important.

Give ur feedback if its works or even if it doesnt :D

You can use the Regsvr32 tool (Regsvr32.exe) to register and unregister object linking and embedding (OLE) controls such as dynamic-link library (DLL) or ActiveX Controls (OCX) files that are self-registerable.
