Seagate 2TB External HDD

Hi Friends...
I have heard that price of HDD had increased in past days. I want to buy a 1TB External HDD under 3.5k or 2TB under 5k, if possible. I prefer Seagate or WD.
Should I wail some time for Prices to come down??

which feature is more fast and efficent and what they actually mean:
1) USB 2.0 or 3.0
2) 2.5'' or 3.5''

please suggest me HDD which is quite fast and highly recommended under 5k. Also mention its market price.

ans 1. its version of USB. USB 3.0 is faster than USB 2.0 .
But a thing to keep in mind is that USB 3.0 is only useful if you have USB 3.0 computer/laptop.
Ans 2. its the size of the Hard disk 2.5 inches and 3.5 inches

Also specify the purpose of your HDD so we can help you out....

I have 2 Laptops and I think I don't have USB 3.0 port in it. :cry:
my Laptop HDD memory are full and I want to make Collection of Movies, TV Serials, Videos etc. that's why I require a lot of memory space. so the purpose of the External HDD is data storage and backup and portability is not the major concern.

Please suggest a cheap but fast enough 2T External HDD under 5k. Availability in the market is not an issue as I am going to buy it from Nehru Place(New Delhi)...
