Save POWER & Download MORE

hey guyz i have a old P3 system which i used to download only...i don't use bsnl broadband...i enjoy the 256kbps speed...nd unlimited down/upload...while i'm enjoying the EURO+sleep...that time my pc downloads for me whole night...i use vuze...i turned off the monitor while downloading...now tell me how can i save more power? in one stat in the net i found... *en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CPU_power_dissipation#Intel_Pentium_III
is there any way to save more power?
if i set the 'turn off hdd' value to minimal...will my download process continues after hdd stop spinning?

If HDD turns off, where will the file be saved?
I think not sing a ups could help as well as an smps of lower wattage will also consume less power.

just turn OFF ur monitor ........

Just trying to increase your posts, isn't it?.

You could also use less RAM like 128 MB if you don't use your PC for anything else.

You could also disconnect other things like your keyboard...mouse......nd any other extra....cards installed....like sound card...or an extra graphics card.......use a single ram module....Disconnect all usb devices BUT certainly dont switch off ur HDD coz den ur download will stop.....

max usage is of monitor, so just keep that off...if u want any less usage, switch of the comp
