I have a sata hard drive, and my motherboard is MSI. I got a floppy drive which contains sata driver. The floppy contains two folder e.g, PIDE and RAID. both the folders contain drivers for all version of Windows OS. Now i want to know where is my actual driver because i want to integrate it with my os(XP). please suggest me Pide or Raid - what driver is required.

@ sumangh01 - you can install xp ( if at least sp1 is integrated on your xp disc )
without using those sata drivers. BTW, if you setup a raid you will need those drivers.

For creating a CD which contains those drivers use n-lite & integrate both of them to be safe. XP installation will use the necessary drivers automatically :p

ya togear is right... no need to mess up with floppy drive again and again .. just make one windows setup disk with nlite and integrate ur sata drivers in it... that it.. next time setup will never ask u for its drivers..
