I am thinking of buying 1.5 TB of SATA 2. My main intention of buying is storage & not games but before buying I wanted to know is SATA 3 available at an affordable rate? Also, are flash disks available in bombay at an affordable price or they are very costly?

Seagate has just launched (internationally) its SATA-3 HDD. Its 2TB drive and will cost above 15k in India. Still not worth investing in.

SATA3 has just launched so no way u can afford it in INDIA (if u r talking about being economical only ;-) )

Though SSDs are launched long ago, still Rs/MB is not cheap...

    Go for SATA2
