^^ if you are comparing gaming performance with similarly priced core i3 2100 then no but in some multi tasking apps FX4100 is ahead.

overall, it depends upon your usage type and core i5 and cre i7 cpus are more costly.

Sandy B is the better choice i think it is more efficient clock for clock, draw less power muchmuch less means less electricity bill which saves you the price difference within a couple of month even. So if your budget is not the limit Sandy isbetter to Bulldz.
