will both phone get the ICS 4.0 update..!!!

any midrange mobile launched with GB should get 4.0 update. so it may get late but SW will atleast taste 4.0 surely. but why worry about official updates when we have community like XDA !

should go for galaxy R if u can increase your budget by few thousands.. among the two i suggest u go for galaxy w..it will get ICS most probably

Samsung Galaxy S won't get ICS update. reason: less ram or something. Galaxy W uses similar hardware. Samsung recently released a list of mobiles that will get ICS update. Galaxy S+ & W both were missing.

anyone who cares about official software should never go with LG stuff. get LG only if you are ready to install custom roms. Cyanogenmod 9 (based on Android 4.0) will be ready by next month & LG O2X will get it straight from Cyanogen team.

You can get Desire S for 16k from ebay with the help of 10% coupon, it is confirmed by HTC that it will get the ICS update and it is better than Neo V also, at the same time you can also have a look at Incredible S which is available for 18-19k and you can use the coupons to take the prices go down further.
