I wish to buy a 2TB - 2.5 inch portable HDD, without an external power supply and can be operated merely by the USB port. Please advice the price range, the make of such a product.

Thank for replying. The link you've mentioned shows a 3.5 inch drive. Please confirm whether it is a 3.5 inch or a 2.5 inch drive. Secondly, why do you suggest 1TBX2 ? So that's 2 1TB drives separately or 2 1TB drives in one case?

i am suggesting you to buy 2 drives of 1TB..
IMO having all the backup in 1 2TB drive is riskier.. than having 50-50 data in 2 drives of half capacity.
