Recommend a MB

hi,
i am using AMD phenom II x4 940.. Socket AM2+,
with ASUS M3A78-EM.
i like to upgrade my MB which should have SSD support and USB 3 with the same CPU..
whether anything availabale?
or should I change both..?

Stick with the board and get a SSD. SSD will be supported anyway. Changing the board now means changing RAMS [as the processor dosnt have DDR3 controllers] and the processor too. Its better either you go for a complete board ram cpu change or stick with the A78 and get a SSD.

@ bal1961 - do post your budget if you want suggestion to buy some component(s) ............ avoid making such incomplete thread in the future.

Samsung 840 gets another vote. Samsung 830 is not a bad choice either, depending on what you're using for. Not possible to recommend without knowing your usage, system configuration, etc. For a guy who says no limit, why don't you make a clean upgrade? Haswell is just around the corner as it is...

As budget is not an issue get Samsung 840 PRO series SSD,is better than 840 series.
Overall 840Pro>830>840 for 120-128GB drives.
