My vote goes for the Pearl ! But , if ur uncle wants a Windows Based mobile , then i suggest the HTC Touch Cruise coz BB is having its own dedicated OS !

Lemme tell u , there's not any separate application for viewing the docs , there's an inbuilt plugin which automatically views the documents present as attachments ! But there are editing options !

If ur uncle wants GPS , then he can go for the BB Curve 8310 , but first tell him that its the broad one ! For BB Pearl 8120 , its sleeker than the Moto Razr ! :)

TTYN II is laggy..that's what I have heard in lot of forums ...so don't go for that .

"Nokia E90" (35K) with Quick Office Premiere v5.0(2.7K) or MobiSystems OfficeSuite v4.0(1.8K) will serve the purpose.

New 'black E90' has some stable hardware changes.

(But,REMEMBER.....Blackberry is THE only mobile phone on Earth has the option of increasing the Font to a really BIG level...

No other mobile....even Windows Mobile has 'smallest...to...largest' with a minimum difference in Font size.In Symbian mobiles Fonts are 'Theme' based,so not of much difference.

For People with 'reading glasses'.....Blackberry is the RIGHT solution! If 3G is a must, then BB 9000 Bold is worth waiting! )

HTC Touch Dual or Cruiser will a good choice i think, i reviewed their details on the htc website. Specs of these two look quiet awesome. HTC diamond lacks some important features, like its only triband, no 3G or HSPDA, No GPS. Its slim and looks good, thats it.Personally for me, Cruiser is much much more feature rich and is the right choice coz of that :)

Myself too agree with that .. but , the major problem is that the Bold isn't goin to be launched soon in India coz till now , its not readily available in the intl. market !

But as i stated earlier , iMav go with the BB Pearl ! :)

the only problem I find with HTC is that, no 1 has mentioned anything about it's syn & doc editing/viewing capabilities.

Black berry, no windows mobile :( hmmmm what is the default Internet Explorer on it? ANd you said something about the Blackberry exchange server or something, what is it?

BlackBerry has its own internet browser .. but , Opera Mini can wok on it ! Abt. the BES , its for wireless synchronisation b/w BB and Outlook or any other mail client !
