They used to be great in terms of refund and replacement, the best infact. But nowadays they suck. Don't worry you will get it replaced as it is an expensive thing. How much did you get it for?

Well in Bangalore 1600X costs 19k + taxes. Online the cheapest I could find was at primeabgb & mdcomputers for Rs.18950. Even the places @bssunilreddy suggests will quote me 17-18k. So 15k for 1600X still beats anything.

I paid 15k. 5k was gift from my friend in form of Amazon cash. So I consider that I paid 15k.

Depends. But I don't think you need to worry. I had received a wrong model of a monitor as replacement for my initial order. Since it was a 2nd time i was facing an issue..they apologized and gave a refund. They will try to give the correct product...if the seller is not able to..they will offer refund.

The 15k got credited back to my card on 14th (day before) but my wife has already placed an order of 1600X when she saw how disappointed I was when I got the wrong product, not to mention the 7-8 angry calls to Amazon Customer care. She told me yesterday. I told her to cancel the order. I dont know if she did as she is busy with her work.

Hi Guys! It happened again! Yes AGAIN! My wife had placed an order for 1600X & yet again I received 1600! 
She got a call today for the order delivery. When I collected it I was very happy that this time I will for sure get a 1600X but I lost it when I again saw a 1600!! Called up Amazon Customer Care. They have initiated the refund again.

Guys I know this isn't the right subforum for my query but it's linked to my situation hence thought of asking here. I sold the 1st 1600 to 1 of my colleagues for 10.5k. My query is how much can I sell the 2nd 1600 for which I received yesterday ? Considering the fact that name of CPU on Amazon invoice is 1600X & not 1600. Local prices in Bangalore is 17k inc taxes.
Keep it for the time being.
You don't know if the seller come barging your door, asking for the 1600. I highly doubt they could take such loss twice. The seller even removed it's listing from Amazon. This is a dangerous sign.
