Rapidshare & Megaupload

the tutorial by vishal gupta for skipping the megaupload restriction for indian users was awesome...but i wanted to know one more thing..that is there nyway to search for some file on these huge networks....though i read it somewhere that its practically impossible to download a file without knowing its link..but still..i think there must be someway to do so...
and yeah 1 more thing can download managers be used with megaupload.com....i know rapidshare doesn't allow it unless u have a premium account..

For searching your file use a bit of creativity . combine the names of both the file and rapidshare and google it. You will be sent to the page of original location, from here it is a pieace of cake.

hey deconstructionist...i agree with u that creativity should be used to search for files...according to me any file on the rapidshare network is of the form:
*www.rapidshare.de/files/some_number/filename.htm...
i used the above idea and googled for:*www.rapidshare.de/files/*/filename.htm..but got no results..here i used the '*' operator so that google includes any number for it...even then i didn't get any results...i think why don't u tell me what kind of string to google for in order to search for the file i need!!!

For example if you are searching for a particular E-book, then search by useing names of both +rapidshare.de the file you want + and google. The best option would be to also search forums and groups. Again this is not a foo proof method ,but works for me.
