Quake III maps

I have downloaded a couple of maps for quake iii and copied them to the baseq3
dir

But I cant access the maps
I dont know if have installed them wrong or I cant figure how to use them
Help

I have had the same problems but have overcomed it. My solution is at the following link:

And follow the instruction very cautiosly. This instruction is for the Dreamcast Map-pack. hope it helps you....
