Hey! This is my config :
Intel C2D E6550 overclocked to 3.0 Ghz
MSI P6N SLI V2
2x512 MB DDR2 667 Mhz RAM overclocked to 860 Mhz
nVidia 8600 GT overclocked to 670/800
Seagate 160GB SATA 7200RPM HDD
LG DVD +- RW drive
The problem is that recently i have been experiencing random BSODs and my Comp would hang up and restart. I thought it was due to my overclocking but i tested with Orhtos for 8 hours and tested my GPU for 8 hours with Atitool. Both passed with no errors.
Then i downloaded SeaTools to test my Hard Disk. Even that passed the test.
Now I am pretty sure it is a PSU problem. I have a generic Power supply that came with my Zebronics case. It is 350W and says "AC 230v" on the back. I read that generic power supplies do not give as much power as they are rated. So is my PSU causing the problem?
If yes, can you suggest an adequate one for less than Rs. 2000? If no, then what could be the problem?
P.S. I got my Case+PSU for 1000 Rs., So it is really a bad PSU.
