Hi Guys,
I yesterday recieved a frontech PS2 optical mouse from indiatimes.I bought it to use in my laptop but was not aware that in laptops USB mouse work. Now what to do ???:( I have heard that there are PS2 to USB converters available , but are not very cheap ( people here says Rs. 80 onwards but not available anywhere here at the moment ), also how successful are these converters ?? I mean is there any performance decrease ?? And what is the difference in the price of PS2 Optical mouse and USB Optical Mouse???I mean is the USB mouse too costly as compared to PS2 one ???
Please reply soon as to what to do because I am feeling really uncomfortable in using Mousepad of laptop.
Thanx in advance...:)

Rs. 15/- for the product which you are talking about

Notebook >> USB >> PS2

it comes with 2 socket to take input for both Keyboard and mouse and goes to USB of ur notebook...

try and look at right place where price would be some what justified

I tried a lot in the market today. I could not find that converter below 80 rupees. Also, None is ready to take my PS2 optical mouse and give me a USB one even when I m ready to pay upto 50 rupees extra. So, I have decided to keep that PS2 mouse with me for future( if ever needed) and buy a new one. Please suggest a good and economical USB optical mouse to be used in my laptop considering that I may occasionally use it for gaming also.
