I'm uisng a 56 Kbps dial-up connection in WinXP+SP2. While the connection used to be 52-48 Kbps, I could not connect at more than 31.2 Kbps these days. Besides, when connectiing, the status icon in the system tray appears quite late. And when disconnecting, the icons disappears late and sometimes I have to log-off from the account to make it disappear. Ending it from the TaskManager did not help. Also, there is always 'inetinfo.exe' appearing in the Process tab of the TaskManager, which I could not simply end, it always reappears by itself. Please help.

Your connection is OK! But the problem is slow dialup or probably noisy dialup line! Get your phone line fixed!

For the "inetinfo.exe" thats IIS admin running on your system as background utility! goto "CONTROL PANEL"->
"ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS"->"SERVICES" and click on IIS ADMIN and make it manual!
