problem with aac in k700i

hey, im unable to play aac sound files(extension .aac, converted using dbpoweramp) in my k700i. i thought the phone supports this format, but the sound file is placed in OTHERS folder. i use the advanced audio encoding plugin. but with faac mp4 plugin, when the sound file is converted to mp4, it is played. also, does k700i support aac files as ringtones?

u need to upgrade the version of ur phone O/S....

look for the version no. R2AE033...that will play aac tracks...i have the same version and i can play aac tracks and can also set them as ringtones...

but my software version is R2AE033, i can play mp4 sound files but not the files with .aac extension. is it due to dbpoweramp or something else is the problem. the aac files r placed in others folder, and renaming them on pc as .mp4 or any other does not help.
