God knows what is the purpose of giving 2001 to 2008 digit issue which contains all the EOL techs.

CHIP magazine is far better than this and their DVD contents are superb. At least u will get what u see.

Yea!!

In their Diwali SPECIAL issue, they ADVERTISED ---- Open SUSE 11.4 on the Hard Back Cover, but

Unfortunately in turned out to be a Lang CD iso. .............. too bad advertising tactics.

A consumer complain can easily be made regarding misleading advertisement to concerned authority.........

Can someone from DIGIT TEAM clarify on this ?

i m also frustrated.
i too asked the question few posts above but no one from this cheaters gave a reply.
its their fault so i dont think they will give any clarification.

Its not a solution. Digit was the best tech magazine but nowadays the quality/service has gone down.

Being a subscriber for last few years, and now just visit the forum sometimes. Its been 2-3 months hvnt purchased any issue borrowed once though, and hvnt even checked last month issue.

I did complaint earlier abt courier issues etc but no one ever replied back. So I just stop purchasing the magazine now and kinda ok with it.

we are not against the magazine. The contents are best. and just because it contains best contents we feel the deprivation of not having them inside the DVD IN FULL.

That is what DIGIT needs to explain that who has given them the audacity to deprive us while taking full 250 Rs.

neither assassin's creed revelations.
this dec 2011 edition is nothing compared to diwali edition...

this was a month of gamers, so many new games have been launched,
but i got disappointment only , in digit dec. 2011 issue.

Thank you for pointing out the error in our forum post. As advertised on December's package itself, the post should read "Past 10 years of Digit PDFs" or something similar, and the "all" is just a typo.

Please believe me when I tell you that we did not, nor will we ever mean to, mislead our readers on purpose, or tell a "white lie".

I am extremely sorry for the mistake, and we will rectify the forum post as soon as possible.

Yes this is best place to give honest feedback so every one could know.. but this might not be the best place to contact them. as I believe they don't check post after every hour
And mails are most like written complaint they are supposed and I believe liable to answer that. As we can see, what ever their answer was but we got their reply.

What do we really want in SKOAR? Flashy images and screenshots with a bare minimum of text or more reading material and/or a more in-depth review?

We should have a poll on this.

I personally prefer more reading material as images and screenshots are anyway available online.

yea, but they post like an essay of 1000 words which loses my interest in reading those articles, they can present it in terms of many factors and comparisons.... and the screenshots r necessary to indicate gameplay and graphics quality, cuz if u talk about viewing 'em online, almost every thing digit gives us is available online, then why do you buy it, ????
to get everything at one place, in one magazine,
i dont want to read articles on skoar and google for screenshots on internet simultaneously, (for this wikipedia, gamespot, gametrailers, and other websites r enough, then why do i read skoar).
i want all material within skoar., why d hell do you publish a skoar of 20 pages , make it wider, include screenshots, make it interesting.

every detail means every detail about the game, i mentioned earlier.

yesterday again after mailing them this is what TEAM DIGIT has replied.

Hi Avijit,

I wanted to celebrate the end of our anniversary year by giving out 10 Years of Digit PDFs, and 10 selected Fast Tracks - using the number "10" to remind our readers that it's been 10 years since we changed our name to Digit.

That is why we gave 10 years (10 x 12) PDF issues of Digit, and 10 PDFs of Fast Tracks.

Also, due to the Anniversary Issue being sold out, and thus quite a few thousand people missing that issue, we got many requests from readers to give the PDFs again.

We didn't include July 2011 to November 2011, because it would ruin the 10 theme that we were aiming for. It would have been "10 + 5/12 Years of Digit", which is just too much of a tongue twister to be marketable.

That said, I do admit to not thinking about the few readers such as your self who perhaps do not read Digit on a regular basis, and thought of buying the December issue to catch-up with what they missed in the past 5 months...

I do apologise, and will make up for that the next time we give away Digit PDFs.

Totally bad. Too much of useless Alienware praising. Ok they are sponsor so I wont any marks on that.
Battlefield screenshots were too small. You couldnt test the Multi player which makes me that a *cough* version was used for testing.
Batman only one photo. When you reviewed the Arkham Asylum you wrote quite a few negative things. That time it didnt win any GOTY awards. Now that its sequel of a bling series you are all praises. 9.5x? AA got quite less. The review felt you were playing for the crowd throwing praises. Not that I say its a bad game but....

Then the NFS review. The photo quality was again bad.


It was ok at most. Since "try it on Alienware" was splashed all over the pages why wasnt even minimum requirements of game given? Again the Tintin comic felt as a excuse to fill the 2 pages since you probably didnt have a review ready. In page 25 you wrote Assasin creed revelation as a blockbuster but review was missing.

a better job than the last months. Really usefull for people who donot have Internet. Although I felt the Dvd that had those ads were pretty useless.

More feedback later. I felt the issue was a completely waste of money. Special issue seems to be becoming just another excuse for you guys to charge us Rs.250. No offence to anyone. Magazine feedback later.

battlefield series is mostly demanded for its multiplayer, and they didn't gave the reviews of multiplayer version of battlefield 3 in skoar,
looks to me too,
Umm, was it a pirated version they used to review battlefield 3?
cuz genuine was available in the market in 2nd week after the launch, and there was enough time to test multiplayer version.....
