Power on Fans running but no boot no beep

Hi ,

When i power on my desktop

Cabinet fans are running , CPU fan is running , DVD writer & HDD is also getting power.

But there is no booting... there is no beep... monitor has no display.

I have tried doing the following :

I removed cmos battery and re-inserted it but still same issue

I removed HDD & DVD writer connection but still same issue

I removed both ram cards (i have 2 slots on mobo) , there is no beep even after removing ram and still same result....

CPU fan is running & Cabinet fan is also running.

....................................

I had kept my desktop running overnight for download.. it was a very big download and i doubt it would have completed it.. shutdown condition was set to "shutdown when downloads complete"

.... in morning it was in shutdown state.

I think of following 2 issues :

If anything could have happened at night i think it would affect PSU first..
(But CPU fan is running)

Since there is no.beep sound when there is no ram on mobo , i think its issue with mobo.


I dont have spare desktop or any spareparts i could check with.. what do you guys think ?? Is it PSU or Mobo or anythinf else ???

Which psu you have?i suspect a mobo issue. Use bios jumper to load the defaults.
Also try one ram at a time.
Clean the ram slot and ram module.
Try ram on another pc
do you have a gpu?

Hi thanks for reply , i got SAGA 2 500w FSP...

Even am thinking somethings wrong with mobo ...

Trying out with jumper..
