Re: Post what you purchased.

Hyper TX2 is good, but over kill. That is my last resort if I am unable to find anything other proper.

Hyper 212 won't fit.

I will send some friend in delhi to go & buy the vortex 752 for me.

^^ TX-2 must be around 1500-1600bucks at SMC..
TX-2 & arctic freezer pro7 are sweetest options considering price/performance ratio..

How better is TX2 compared to Vortex 752 in cooling?
Way better! Vortex is just another replacement for Stock Intel/AMD HSF. Apply Arctic MX-II or Silver5 with stock sinks and they'll perform better than a Vortex. I just dont get why Vortex 752 is in first place for u?
IMO, its the dimensions that has attracted you!

Re: Post what you purchased.

^^^ Yup, I know Hyper TX2 is better but it is too big. Gemini S or Vortex 752 are good enough, that's the thing.

how much is Hyper TX 2 available for??? I have used this CPU cooler so I have personal experience with this cooler & like I said it is my last resort. I already have Arctic Silver 5 with me.

@gx here are two great reviews for arctic freezer pro7 & CM hyper TX-2

AFAIK both TX-2 & arctic freezer pro7 are neck to neck only thing is TX-2 is more silent that arctic freezer pro7...

Hmm, I think I should go with Hyper TX2 only cos I am planning to upgrade to Core 2 Duo E8200 sometime in novembar, in that case the Hyper TX2 Cooler will be benefitial for that too.

Re: Post what you purchased.

^^Wow ! Three pen drives. Waiting for some benchmark or review by you :D

I ordered Leadtek WinFast TV2000 XP Global Media Center Edition TV Tuner card today for Rs 2,200. It is coming on order from chennai & will be here by Wednesday.

I will be using it with Windows Vista Media Center, since I hardly record TV so hardware encoding isn't required. In software encoding my system CPU with assitance with GPU due to UVD & AVIVO I can easily record in WMV format in real time from within the Media Center.

[a little bit offtopc ]
What happend to your leadtek tv tuner card. Just a bit curious to know.
