This is cheapest 8600GT card I have ever heard. Would you mind posting some details like dd2/dd3, snaps also does the price include VAT.

Just 2 months wait. I m not talking about next year. There are many brand s like XFX, EVGA, MSI which are available in INDIA better than Palit. I m not saying that its a waste brand but Palit gives 1 Year warranty where as rest of good brands give 3 years atleast, of warranty and there is barely 500-700/- difference in price. Palit might be cheaper.

Well, i was talking about Palit's Sonic model. I wasnt referring to any of its warranty, etc! Sonic+ models are the fastest cards in the market. For instance, 8600GT Sonic+ model is the fastest model of 8600GT. And so is the 9600GT one!

Indeed Sonics are few of the best offerings from Palit.
Just think about it, In this scenario where companies are giving 10 years of warranty for their products, Palit is giving just one year warranty.
I don't know what warranty matters to u but for for couple of bucks more, if i get 3-10 times more warranty on the product, i m not afraid of loosing my pocket a bit.
