Right now 4 GB XMS modules from Corsair is not available in Kolkata. In fact I was planning to get a single 1 GB one...but did not find it. Normal 4 GB modules (1333 MHz CL9) without heat sink are available around 2.5K to 2.6K in different shops. In Starcomp the Corsair is available @ 2.55K.
The pricing of AMD 6 cores have been reduced a lot. Th price of
1090T @ 10.5K
1075T @ 9.1K
1055T @ 8.3K-8.5K

I just love Corsair 800D ... Did i say "I am In lOVE with 800D"?

Both Cards are devastating games like they are nothing.. Strange thing is i get avg of 65fps in Metro 2033 whereas with same setup others are getting 42 or 45 Fps . Currently The cards are running at 16x & 8X.. with only few FPS loss.. What to do i need PCI slot for my Xtrememusic sound card..

@S_V:
Wow really nice. So you running GTX470 SLI. Excellent. Those boards will rip any game apart. Excellent cable management, dream-2-work-with cabinet for sure. That i7 @ 4GHz will keep the accelerators nice and saturated.

Congratulations once again.

By the way, do you not have a 2 way SLI connector which is that long.?

Thanks...! I doubt Amazon would ship such an item to India. I asked a friend to get it. It is available there though.

Wow...been ages since I posted on this forum. Here's some stuff I bought this week:

For my primary gaming rig, I purchased an EVGA GTX 470 with a Zalman VF3000f aftermarket cooler. Together, they cost me $240 from TPU forums.

Purchased an Asus GTX 470 for $220 from newegg. These are for my dedicated foldign rig. The Asus 470 w/ stock cooler OCs to Core 770Mhz / memory 1700Mhz and gives about 15-16k PPD folding.

Purchased a Q6600 / MSI P7N Platinum motherboard for my folding rig. Total cost $100 from TPU forums.
Purchased, for $45, a PC bench for the folding rig: *www.amazon.com/MYOPENPC-Transparen...R3ME/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1293562752&sr=8-1

Purchased a EVGA GTX 480 from eBay for $300. Did not like it. It runs too hot leaving you no headroom to OC with the stock cooler. Traded it for another Asus 470 and a Eco Coolit liquid cooling.
