But you have a wonderful VA panel. A tradeoff of increased power consumption was imminent. Came across this LED < CCFL < Plasma < CRT (duh!) and also that VA & IPS > TN.
Thanks (belated) for the further info! I am glad that I got rid of my 21" CRT a little over 2 years ago, although it was not by choice. It went kaput!

Thanks guys. I bought it a couple of weeks ago but yeah, it did cross a lac. What that image doesn't show is the LG OEM Blu-ray drive that the old WD20EARS was connected in place of.
Oh and the 590 is a dual-GPU card, so it shows up twice in Device manager. Even I'm not crazy enough to QuadSLI now!

Oh wait...a 590 is 2 GPUs, so device manager is correct. Quad SL= 4 GPUs in device manager
Nice setup tho. But why the HX650? Switch for an 850 ASAP.

The HX650 is the sole remaining component of my previous rig, and yes I'm not too proud of it. But it's doing the job just fine right now (has enough amperage etc), and will hopefully hold out until I forage enough money for a better unit.

Still I didn't understand why extremegamer changed his comment. Custom loop cooling & OC'ing it to >5GHz makes more sense with your config..
But it not one of the safest option to have with your rig. It can under-power your PC components.

The HX650 is running near or exceeds the power rating. the 80 plus silver HX850 is a good PSU. Or you can get silverstone ST-850 or corsair AX-850.
