first of all, congrats to nipun & icebags !!

@ icebags - national DL-DVDs are also a good & cheaper option. been using them from quite sometime. ~18-20/- per disc.



So, returned from a stroll down the lamington lane, and should i return empty-handed ?! O' no sir ! (actually, once had to come back in that state ;-) )

[Sujay, where are you ?! :p me dont earn much, but then my spends on stuff other than what deeply interests me are almost non-existent :) ]

@ sujay - i have got a small-time samsung GT-C3200, and wasnt able to back-up contacts earlier through the samsung-softwares, and never even cared to search for an alternative method. this time i needed a card-reader, and a sim-card reading feature seemed an added advantage, so just placed my order for it.

and i've two flash voyagers. the one i posted about was the CMFUSB2.0 model....it has the same speeds as i posted....the other model is CMFYUSB3.0. this one's got read speeds of ~56 MB/s, and write speeds ~11 MB/s.....may be i need to test a bit more.....used 'checkflash' and 'bst' for the tests.


so showtime now....before that, a little description :

ITEMS PURCHASED (1 online, others locally from lamington road, etc) :

1. Mysteries - by colin wilson (flipkart)
damage -- 336/-
this is a book which should be a must-have for people deeply interested in esoterism and the beyond. i had a copy earlier, but gifted it to a magnificent person. now ordered again ! received in 1.5 days flat :doublethumb: !!

2. Steelseries Siberia Headset (primeabgb)
damage -- 2700/-
just tested this. sound is very good, with bass slightly more than my ozone snow headset. very comfortable, with non-leather ear-cups cushion. has stretchable headband instead of the usual retractable ones with other headsets. build-quality (braided cord, unlike ozone), comfort level, esp on ears, are simply great !

3. MEElectronics M6-BK (black) (primeabgb)
damage -- 1550/- (came to know now that received it costlier :-( )
this one's disappointed me:hissyfit: ! bought it for my bro. found lacking in bass. tried different ear-tips bundled with the box, but to no avail. currently using panasonic ear-candy, and the M6 had fuzzy bass as compared to even that. should i give it some time for burn-in ? but i think ear candy didnt require that. what to do ? sell-off, or wait :oops: ?!

4. RadioPop USB Internet Radio + TV Player (primeabgb)
damage -- 1000/-
(says) worldwide 20,000 radio & 5,000 tv stations can be received through it. yet to try

5. Sunbeam Laser LEDs (primeabgb)
damage -- 250/-
tri-directional, tri-colour, 3-LED single-set for cabinets. yet to try.

6. Btwin Rockrider Helmet (selection centre sports)
damage -- 2125/- (15% off on MRP of 2499/-)
a great looking helmet with great build-quality for my RR :hyper:

My parents dont allow me to go more than 2-3kms away from my home(I am a kid :p).... :(

And I cant go there with my father too, he is always busy with office and hardly gets time to rest... I cant take away that time too...

thanks, kilroy, i did not see national dvds in flipkart, but may have seen some in ebay. well, may be will look for them next time.

i like the earplug pouch of m6, lots of my earplugs ate dust before. i need one such thing too. :D
