purchased a kingston 1gb ddr2 667 MHz for 1800 from nehru place,delhi

n goddam,der i was told 12,500 for a 256mb 8600gts(afaik 256 version aint out yet) n dat too @ such low price.
8600gt wat qouted for sumthng less den 9k(i exactly don remember)is dis true dat 8600gts 256 is released n d price hv fallen?

Purchased Transcend StoreJet 2.5" Ext. IDE HDD case + 80 GB Seagate 5400.3 HDD for Rs. 3400.Could have bought cheap cases for 200 bucks but wanted to try out a Transcend case.

good choice with the lcd benq has good specs as compared to viewsonic.
the response time for viewsonic is 8ms which is considered to be poor.

Yep, i personally tested Viewsonic, Benq and Asus at the Shop. The Benq seemed to be good in performance and feature wise and price is good too.

Here is the few things i checked -
1. The Stand is solid. Asus was bad.
2. Response time for all 19inch was 5 ms.
3. Contrast ratios were 700:1 but only Asus had 800:1
4. Brightness was 300:1
5. Viewing Angles for all were good.
6. Price for BenQ with DVI was best at 11500 just 200 more than normal D-Sub

Processor -> C2D E4300 @ 4.9k
Memory -> (1gb*2) Kingston PC2-5300 @ 1.8k each

Prices are excluding VAT.

Haven't got the time to install but will post result later. Also thinking of buying some 3rd party cooler but after testing the limit of stock cooling.

total = 22 300/-



and some service & Delivery charges goes to 22 500/- but made the payment of 22 250/- For full desktop.

well the profit is here.. after installing all, i found my TV Tuner is Pinnacle 110 i instead of 50 i ,.............and i paid only (2600/-) for 110 i...

Everything looks fine except RAM prices. Too much according to me. 512MB stick is for Rs 700 here and 1500 for 1GB
