Hanging, since 2004..
How is this Stech Computers in your opinion ? I have purchased quite a number of items from them. It is better than others in Pune in m opinion.
He is good , I recently got my new PC from him, better prices than other major shops and is well behaved. Not many shopkeepers talk to you properly in Pune, I dont know what is the problem with them.

what is Budget ,

these boards are doing Good in all the Hearts of Corei7 owners

Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 - 16K

Asus P6T Deluxe V2 - 21K

Asus Rampage II Gene - 16K

DFI LP UT X58-T3eH8 - 18K

all these boards are well performed without any hassle , My pick wud be Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5
Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 was my first choice too, but I waited in vain for more than a month and had to ultimately settle for eVGA X58 3XSLI, which is a great board BTW, but I had to shell out 22.5K + VAT ! OUCH!!

If Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 has suddenly become easily available now, I might like to curse myself for the rush.

Review

Pros:

1. Touchscreen is good, not as good as iPhone but works well, the resistive touchscreen makes use a lot easy specially with nails, unlike most reviews if you use nails very little pressure is needed and its sensitive.

2. Sound output is sweet, the stereo speakers sound awesome and the 3.5mm jack can really drive quality headphones well, its definitely better than iPhone by miles, its actually better than most Walkman phones I've heard.

3. Screen is really capable, can play videos up to 640x480(640x360 for fullscreen),also has AR correction like modern LCD monitors.

4. Touch interface is well optimized, and the phone is fast, no lock ups till now, music management through player is easy.

5. Battery life is really good, charging takes a lot of time though.

6. Build quality is good, even though its made of plastic but better than most phones out there.

7. Can play high bitrate videos(2.5mbps tested with no slowdown)

8. Phone supports both MSC/MTP. Nice for syncing, also in MSC mode transfer speeds are great.

and so forth.....

Cons:

1. Camera sucks, its worst than most 3.2mp cams out there, quality is even worst than 2mp good cams, don't buy the phone if your primary concern is camera, I bought it as a replacement to PMP, so its not my concern. Absolutely not usable in low lit room, flash sucks.

2. Long charging time for full charge.

3. Could've used dedicated media keys like play pause, but its taken cared of by the headphone extender.

4. Due to price cut nokia has removed the TV out feature, extra stylus, Carry pouch and the sweet looking dock in the photo.

Also the included microUSB cable is f**king 6" long, am I to hang my phone from my desktop? All my music is stored in desktop not in my laptop, sheesh, I've seen cost cutting, but this is totally ridiculous, next they will remove the box and give phone in plastic packet. Bought a cable for 500/-, another alternative is a USB hub(200/- should do).

5. S60V5 is still in infancy, a very few apps available, I miss core player.

6. No native H.264/AVC/DivX/Xvid support. Wait for Core Player.

7. Nokia music offer gives 100 tracks with WMA DRM, where's the DRM ripper when you need one? Also it only gives you 100 tracks so far, no option to buy further tracks. So choose wisely.

For the price point this phone is absolutely VFM

I was also thinking of buying 5800 since the price drop, but mainly for GPS navigation. Please give your impressions regarding the GPS functionality. Also whether maps like MapMyIndia or Satguide can be loaded? Have you used it for in car navigation?
