Bought a new MSI HD4670 1GB in Chennai for 4650 INR. Looks like a decent deal. And for the sad side, in Chennai almost all dealers haven't had the 512MB version in stock. So i just stay with the 1GB version.
And one dealer quote me 5500 INR for Sapphire HD4670 512MB version and 5800 for 1GB version.Ain't i get a 9800GT for that price?

my only gripe was that only red variant of 5800 was available .. and after the price cut it comes without the hard cover ..
headset is fine but nothing outstanding (compared to logitech 2.1 wired gaming headset)...
nortek mouse is an absolute stunner ... initially i eyed the logitech mx 518 but this ones damn cheap for a gaming mouse with extra programmable buttons and on the fly dpi changing... far cry 2 became a new experience again

what are the latest price of corsair vx450w psu and zotac 9600gt eco edition card 512mb and 1gb. and also please tell me where can i get both these products in delhi. in nehru place corsair is available at smc international but very costly at rs.4200/= and card is available only at computer empire but i dont want to purchase it from there.

and your questions are not stupid ! 1. The board has two PCI-e x16 slots, yes with Crossfire support which is for ATi cards. Therfore you can theorectically gain upto 1.6x of GPU performance by using two identical cards connected with a crossfire cable ( you mainly have to use identical cards in crossfire). The two cards behave as a single GPU and therefore your performance gets a major boost.
Therefore you need to buy the graphics cards which can be configured/supports in crossfire. More about crossfire. (click here)
Also you will need a 750W rated PSU (from Corsair, Coolermaster or Antec) if you are going to use two graphics card in Crossfire on this board.
Although this board doesnt run in CF 8x8 mode, rather in 16x4 mode which isnt that good
2. The Q9450 will be better than the AMD Athlon II X4 however it costs like double of what this processor costs. A Phenom X4 will however beat this Quad core at a lower price.
It doesnt make sense to buy the C 2 D or C 2 Q series now, especially since Core i5 is much better if you're going to spend 11k on just the processor. Only gripe is that the motherboards for Core i5 are really expensive right now

I had bought the VX450 from E-lounge (www.theitwares.com) Mumbai for Rs.3950. Prime ABGB has higher prices IMO.
