^hey ur fast Kniwor. I was editting my post.
320$ should be around 14k, why 20k ? Do the Credit Card companies levy that much service charge & how much is shipping? How do you buy anyway.?
It wud be nice if you posted a tutorial.

Re: Post what you purchased.

My friend ships it from there, the thing is, mostly I have to order from stores that accept international Credit Card, and these stores are costlier than Newegg etc... so it is $330 on newegg, but if i went out to search for it and order it from a store where I can actually order, I will be much more, say 380-400$, then shipping charges and customs, but still, at the end of the day, the stuff is much cheaper, If u have really good friends out there who can actually pay for you, it will be a little more cheaper, and If someone can PAY+Bring it to India for you, it will be damn cheap. but I dont mind the money I pay, at least I get the good stuff. Also I can get things shipped anytime, and I can order as much as I want as my friend is not paying, I am, all he has to do is ship, so not much trouble for him, it gets delivered to his doorstep in a package, he puts another sticker on the package with my address and ships it.

+ This is the first rig I'm building getting things from out, a guy on another forum helped me.

OT,
If i were to spend more than 300$ i would jump on this - PWNAGE

Nice balanced setup there Kniwor.Why not get a 975 based board ? 1:1 will always give you Max performance.

frankly speaking, the DS-3 is not worth the price tag.Only 965 board i feel worth buying in India is Asus P5B Deluxe.

Just my opinion.
BTW instead of 4400,get 6320, its avlbl in states at some places.you can manage to get it from there.Intel gives international warranty :razz:

Think about it, 4MB L2 cache for almost same price :rolleyes:

Re: Post what you purchased.

I am actually already considering 6320(for that extra cache), waiting for the final availability/prices.

I am not getting a 975 based board because in general, 965 boards have shown better OC'in capability, sure 975 is a better performer clock-to-clock, but high overclockability and better memory performance in 965 will make up for it.

But I do not agree on the DS3($115) and P5B-Delux($190), P5B delux is 65% more costlier than DS3, and there is no board that is better value for money than the DS3, I wouldn't pay extra $75 for a firewire and couple of extra sata ports, Delux might reach little higher FSB because of better cooling, but then I can get 6420 instead of 6320 for less than $75 difference and get a better multiplier and eliminate the need of delux.

But I do have an argument contradicting myself in favor of the delux, the whole point behind getting 6320 and not 6420 was that I wanted to run at high FSB, 1:1 memory, If i got 6420 my processor would hit the wall before I reach 500Mhz, in which case memory will be at around 850-900Mhz, dropping the multiplier will OC north bridge, so I'd rather prefer 6320 and board running at 500FSB, and DS3 v3.3, will do it, but Delux has better chances. But in the end, my decision goes in favor of DS3.

P5B-E is kind of a middle thing between DS3 and P5B-Delux, and I might as well get it if I plan on using RAID, because with DS3, I'm not sure about using RAID.

@darklord
I might in the end get P5B-E, and before I do, I would like u to comment on differences between P5B-E and P5B-Delux, as P5B-E will cost me much less than the Delux, around $55 less. Maybe I'm missing on some positive points of P5B-Delux.

Bought 400GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 HDD for Rs. 5450/ + VAT
and an aluminium external case(PATA/SATA) for Rs. 1400 + VAT from Technocrat.
Case was of an unknown brand Enter Multimedia :( . I will post pics soon.

@Pravas
Just skip the 8600GT (128 bit memory interface) and save for 8800GTS or wait for products from ATI to launch.
