It took me hardly 2 mins to open the package well. I can even repack it but can't seal ofcourse.
Cable winder is nice but I would have liked a mechanical cable winder like in mouse.

I have to disassemble the system as it has to be sent to Bangalore, so thought I'd upgrade the thermal paste.

Bought Arctic Silver 5 (3.5g for Rs 600) from PrimeABGB. Ordered it yesterday online, and it got delivered in 24 hours. :D

Hello Prometheus,
Thanks...

- Indian version comes with Ultrabay ( DVD R/W ), with single GT 755M . You have to purchase/get another GT755M and replace the ultrabay on your own and then run it on sli . :( . Its going to be DIY project m8.

- Yes these are heat vents. I have a Platronics My Buddy Laptop cooling stand , its fan is positioned right above this heating vent and works out nicely ( *www.flipkart.com/portronics-my-buddy-cooling-stand/p/itmd9zyevjedfd9u?pid=ACCD9ZYCQDBVKHEN& )

- I was playing NFS Rival , and gosh , the air spewing out from its side vent was really hot. I will use Core Temp to measure the temp this weekend , and try to do a benchmark and post here.
Long time I did any sort of benchmarking. I got to read up on it as to how to do it right. You have tips ?

ah k.. a single 755m I guess I'll wait for MSI's re-launch in India then:-(

Also, for how much and from where did you got tht ultrabay 755?:) is it feasible to import one? (cough*IndianCustomsCough*)

Secondly, is there a glossy screen on your y510p? or an anti-glare? as Lenovo is famous for changing system builds at the last moment and not updating it properly on their website ...and the retailer follows... :/

Well, its been ages since I did a benchmark but you can:

- close any/all unnecessary background services before running a benchmark (would advice to make a guest account and then do the same as its fresh and free from addons/any 3rd party widgets and stuff..you can always delete tht guest account later)

- get crystal mark / unigine / crysis benchmark setup to run one after another; give a cool down time of abt 20-30mins:cool:

- do closely monitor CPU/GPU/HDD temps side by side for any spikes; you don't want to fry anything at any point
