i dont have one now..and buying one will depend on a lot of other factors..[penetration of blue ray etc..] so there is no fixed time duration for me to buy one...

[this said, which option do i vote for now?]

Don't have one and won't buy one until the drives become affordable and the disks become easily available.

I found a Blue Ray Drive for around Rs. 10,xxx/- on a website. I remember having bought my first CD Writer for Rs.1000/- 8 years ago, it was an HP one that could burn at 4X speed.

I'm not quite sure about this. It's difficult to say. I'm sure I won't find myself buyin a BR drive anytime soon.

I've got two of em. One is the Sony Blu-ray player and second is my PS3 but none on my PC yet. Will get it pretty soon for my PC too.

I don't have one . i will buy one when bluray blank media is available for 20-30 bucks and bluray movies are available for 500 bucks or less.

I would buy it sometime this year, atleast a Blu ray drive, maybe digit or some other magazine would start giving a blu ray disc by next year.
