Hi All

i am planning to buy a laptop but really getting confused which one to buy

Just came back from market after inquiring about latest prices for the below models

Macbook Pro 13" (latest model with 500GB Hard drive) = 64,300
Macbook Pro Old model with 320GB Hard drive = 62,900

Sony Vaio VPCSB36FN = 54500

Sony Vaio VPCCA35FN = 51400

I don't want laptop for gaming (already have a PS3).It will be used primarily for internet browsing ,watching HD movies, word/xls/ppt and photoshop.

Go for Macbook pro....And go for the newer model...the older one has an older CPU

Except for minor speed bump,both are same.Get the cheaper one.

Any idea how much 500 or 750 gb internal HDD cost if I want to upgrade ?

You can replace the hard drive yourself easily and it DOES NOT void warranty.
I would suggest you to get a smaller ssd and an external hard drive for multimedia storage.
MBP just flies on ssd,Lion is superfast on it.
It is the best possible upgrade you can get for your Mac.
