For most non-professional users (and even professional users), photoshop is not a viable legal option. For non-professional use, you can go for free software. Two of the best free software in this category are the GIMP and Photofiltre. GIMP is more comprehensive but has a steeper learning curve. Photofiltre is easier to use and has pretty much everything that non-professional users will need.

Photofiltre is good and compact Software for photo editing and its a freeware
