    try i-pen.
it can work as a normal optical mouse
    it converts handwriting to text
Write or draw freehand-style over your presentation application screen.

used it only once. Good enough

doesnt a pen mouse come with storage? So that u can write without connecting to pc and the writing gets stored in the pen itself and later transported to pc?

won't it be too bulky and heavy if it has inbuilt storage? I also need something to make illustrations with. Medico's idea may just work for me.
